Célène has been interested in the field of alternative health for the past 35 years. She has a BA degree in remedial teaching from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and taught retarded children for many years. Subsequently, she taught normal children in the local government schools where she came across many learning problems which might have been overlooked but for her experience with retarded children. She began reading books by Adele Davis and realised the great urgency to change the eating habits of these children.
Célène pursued her knowledge by studying Health and Nutritional Science at the American College of Health Science, known as the Life Science Institute in Austin, Texas, USA now relocated to Winnipeg, Canada.
She works in conjunction with medical doctors, where she is first and foremost a teacher who assists in the re-evaluation of an individual's eating patterns and lifestyle.
In addition, she gives lectures and runs seminars on health-related educational issues at various institutions.
